Let's get our day started together! In this Morning Meeting, we will use our daily calendar to practice number recognition and counting, will work together to complete a book comparison, and share our thoughts and opinions with the group. Throughout our meeting we will also incorporate sight word recognition and writing models in fun and authentic ways! This class is for any Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten student who enjoys reading books, singing songs, and interacting with others. I hope you can join us!

Hello! My name is Ms. Colleen and I have just begun my sixth year as a Kindergarten teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Florida State University and my passion is teaching young children how to read and write! I have taught Pre-Kindergarten and pre-school ages and have worked as a part-time nanny for nine years. In my classroom, you can expect to find interactive and authentic instruction, as well as songs and movement to help keep the little ones engaged.
