This is the third quarter of Pre-Calculus. This course is rigorous and should only be taken by students who have successfully completed Algebra 2 and the first semester of Pre-Calc. This class is best for self-motivated students who like math who will work hard both in and outside of class. In this quarter we will focus on matrices, conic sections, sequences, and series. Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned after each class session. Math cannot be learned without practice and students are expected to do the homework in a timely manner and check it themselves with the provided answer keys. Students should expect to spend 30-45 minutes on homework each school day (2-4 hours per week); this will vary depending on topic.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
