This is the second quarter of Pre-Calculus. This course is rigorous and should only be taken by students who have successfully completed Algebra 2. This class is best for self-motivated students who like math and will work hard both in and outside of class. In this quarter we will focus on functions and their graphs. Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned after each class session. Math cannot be learned without practice and students are expected to do the homework in a timely manner and check it themselves with provided answer keys. Students should expect to spend 30-45 minutes on homework each school day (2-4 hours per week); this will vary depending on topic.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Curriculum will be provided by the instructor. A printer will be needed to print out notes and assignents. A basic calculator will be needed (recommended--TI-30X IIS) and we will use the free online graphing calculator, Desmos.com
