Each session there will be an instructional content for note taking, a practice set of problems, and a solutions guide to check their own work, that should all be completed for each topic. Labs and online participation components are considered part of class time but will also need to be completed each week. Optional enrichment activities and additional practice will also be available.
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Assessments will be provided and can be formally graded or self-corrected.
Grades Offered
It is recommended that students have access to a graphing calculator like the TI-84 plus beginning with Algebra classes.
Students will receive handouts and assignments throughout the course.
Labs and optional enrichment activities may require miscellaneous household items on occasion.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Desmos.com an online graphing calculator utility and is a third party tool that does not require an account to use, but students may create a free account if they choose. Students will use desmos.com throughout the course in addition to their personal graphing calculator.

YouTube.com will provide supplemental videos for students to experience math through seeing and is a third party tool that does not require an account to use, but students may create a free account if they choose.
