Class covers Pre Calculus & Calculus. It uses the textbook "Understanding Basic Calculus" By SK Chung which is available online. Lessons incorporate topic explanation, in class practice , weekly jeopardy style competition (with prizes).
In Class practice and competition used to evaluate students' performance with modest take home practice assigned to students if needed.

Description
Class Experience
Learn Integral Calculus (Calculus 2)
BS in computer science with substantial college level math education from Georgia Institute of Technology. Taught computer programming at the University of Washington, Kirkland Technical College, and St. Petersburg College in the USA. Was a TA of logic and formal proofs at Georgia Tech and Math tutor at St. Petersburg College.
Homework assigned and checked. Grades for homework don't count towards final grades. Doing homework is very important to learning , relating material, and for cementing knowledge.
Class is optionally graded for students wishing to get grades. Tests after each batch of related lessons. Homework checked but its grades are not counted.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
