Intermediate Level
This will be a teacher lead math class; concepts will be presented by the teacher and practiced independently. Some lessons will include investigative activities when applicable. All classes will include discussion structured to enhance learning and build community. I will check in weekly through with your student to monitor progress and will be available most days to address questions or concerns. Students should be able to complete assigned topics within six month although I strongly encourage each student to work at a pace that is confortable for them.

- perform operations with positive and negative decimals- write and solve multi-step equations

- use rules of exponents and scientific notation
