This class is taught in English.

Learners will obtain skills needed for 17 weeks of major Pre-Algebra concepts.  We will add to concepts as they build over the semester, eventually integrating into new processes. New skills and formulas will be added to the previous information.

 I have had students in the public and private school setting K-12 for over 25 years.  I was an elementary public school teacher for 1st and 3rd grades for several years.  I then taught 4th and 5th grades in private school for over a decade.  I homeschooled my own children for several years through a local hybrid school. Currently, I teach 7-12 mathematics in a private school setting, including college preparatory Algebra 2 and Trigonometry.  I hold a current Master of Arts in Education degree from a large university in the state of Missouri.  

Homework Offered
Learners will be given base homework problems, sometimes with parts, to work independently for the weekend after a week of in class demonstration that includes notetaking, modeling, and time for questions.   
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Submit completed homework given in the first meeting by the third meeting each week.  Be ready for Kahoot! quizzing every two weeks.
Grades Offered

Optional: Save homework done digitally with a stylus and show work on saved white slides for digital submission weekly.
