Class Experience
This class is designed to help students deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts as they begin to move into pre-algebra and algebra classes. I will explain each topic, demonstrate some examples until students feel comfortable trying it on their own, and then answer any questions that come up as we work through a few more examples. I've been a math tutor and classroom teacher for years, and I love to help students figure it out. I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida.
Worksheets provided upon request for those students who would like to have some extra practice, and I will be happy to check them and offer additional explanations.
Paper and pencil, in order to work the practice exercises with me.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
