In this one-time class, students will review changing improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers into improper fractions.  The teacher will demonstrate changing improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers into improper fractions as well as practice this with the students.  The students will also practice this on their own.  Students should have experience and know how to change mixed numbers to improper fractions and improper fractions to mixed numbers.  Students should need review with changing improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions.  Students should know what fractions are and have experience with fractions. Hello everyone!  Welcome to Outschool!  
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you!  I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too.  I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online.  When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person.  My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups.  I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License.  I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also.  My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways.  I love to have fun while learning!  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
