US Grade 6 - 9
This course is meant to cover all major standards of Pre-Algebra. Whether your student needs a full curriculum, extra support on a given topic, or just wants to supplement their current curriculum, this course will be of great help to them! I will utilize the I do, We do, You do method of teaching. First I will do and explain a problem(s), we will do a problem(s) together, and then the students will practice problems on their own while I check for their understanding. During practice time, students may work together, some students (voluntarily) may be asked to "tutor" or "teach" other students or the whole class to apply the final depth of knowledge, and/or receive 1-on-1 assistance with me in a break-out room. This class will be taught 2 day's per week to allow for sufficient concept building, practice, and to cover the breadth of the full course. Because it is Ongoing, you will have the ability to pay on a weekly basis and/or only for the weeks you deem necessary for your student! Students will receive guided notes and worksheets in the classroom every Monday that correspond to each weeks lesson.
