Description

Class Experience

This course focusses on the geometric topics typical in a pre-algebra course.  While this course is part of a 3-module series of Pre-algebra camps, students can enroll in this course, regardless of whether they have taken my other Pre-algebra camps.  

This camp will focus on the basics of linear equations, manipulating equations and solving equations, with the following approximate outline:
Day 1
  Writing variable expressions given words or diagrams

Students will be encouraged to complete 20-30 minutes of homework per class session.  Registration in this course includes a subscription to a 3rd party program allowing students to practice with immediate feedback and the instructor to monitor progress.

Upon request, I can assess and provide a letter grade to communicate to parents a student's performance compared to the learning goals of the course.

3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
