Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
In this class, I will teach your learner pre-algebra using The Art of Problem Solving's Pre-Algebra curriculum. I will use my iPad and screen sharing for everything that we work on during class. This is a great way for all students to conveniently see exactly what we are working on together. I will begin each session with examples of how to complete each problem. Then, each student will answer an assortment of questions to learn the topic. Next, students are welcomed to try the concept on their own and problem solve before everyone coming together to work through the problems as a class. The pace of class will be based on your learner's needs.

My teaching style is very relaxed. I like to not only complete our academics but also get to know your learner and create a lifelong positive learning experience. I encourage students to interact with any thoughts, questions, and/or ideas they have during the class discussion. Students are also welcome to message me through Outschool's conversation page with any questions or ideas they wish to share.
