I have lived and worked as a teacher in Alaska for ten years, primarily teaching pre-algebra and algebra, as well as some math-based electives and STEM project-based exploration classes. My students have come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities and I have a lot of experience catering to different learning styles and differentiating for varied skill levels within the same class. I love watching my students understand a concept and open up doors to new concepts as they progress through the content in my classes. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with a K-8 teaching certificate.
