Class Experience
Exposure is very important when learning a second language and so, this class will be about 75% in Spanish. English will be avoided when possible. Students will hear vocabulary words associated with a class theme, Fall/Autumn, about 8-10 words per class. As they hear and learn new words they will be asked to draw pictures to match the words. I am a native Spanish speaker, raising bilingual children. I do virtual Spanish read alouds and mini Spanish lessons over zoom with my daughter's 2nd grade class, incorporating worksheets and activities. In addition, I have a B.A. in Comparative Literature, where i studied literature across Spanish/English cultural boundaries.
