Class Experience

Students will be introduced to the plot pyramid structure via video and discussion/lecture. The whole class will watch the short "The Present" together to identify parts of the plot pyramid. Students will then be divided into groups to watch a short together and identify the parts of the plot pyramid. Finally students will individually answer the plot pyramid responses for a third short by themselves. Students will be asked to participate and discuss the text and offer their own thoughts and insights into each of the shorts and the events that take place. Finally students will explain plot to a younger student to demonstrate mastery.

Students will be provided with Google Slides (that can optionally be printed) to guide their study, as well as a link to an online copies of the shorts being used in class.
