Students will be taught the difference between the homophones there, their, and they're. We will start by discussing the meaning of the 3 words, and practice them together. We will then edit sentences for the correct homophones, before testing our knowledge through a game. We will spend 10 minutes playing blooket together, before closing the class with a review. At the end of the class, I will email you your child's score from our blooket game. Students will interact during the game, and be...
Students will improve their knowledge of the homophones there, their, and they're. As well as how to edit writing, and find homophone errors.
At the end of our game, I will be able to see the number of questions your student answered correctly. I will assess your student, and be able to provide feedback on other things your student should be working on.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
We will be using a third party tool. This third party tool will NOT need an account created for use.
