I will help students gain mastery of basic math operations. I will teach students how to practice basic addition and subtraction math facts using an online fact fluency site. The students will be able to practice using songs, games, and activities. The more students practice, the more they learn. As they practice their facts, they should increase the amount of problems mastered and decrease the amount of time it takes them to answer. Students should increase the number of basic math facts learned aiming for high accuracy.
Paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker may be helpful for some students. I will give students a class code on day 1 to join a math fact fluency practice site.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
