In this one-time course, children will review how to use a number line, add facts with addends 0-9, add using the Commutative Property of Addition (A+B = B+A), add using the Additive Identity Property of Addition (A + 0 = A or 0 + A = A), write equations, and read and solve word problems. I have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education with a mathematics concentration and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a reading concentration. I have been teaching second grade for eight years.
There is no homework required for this course.
