Using live baby ducks, this one-time class will teach young learners the basics about ducks: where they come from, what parts they have, what they eat, what they can do. Class is highly interactive with lots of questions and answers. Students will also draw a duck using simple geometric shapes. Class is structured as follows: Student introductions Parts of a duck with live duckling Brief slide show with duck information Guided, step-by-step drawing time This class is seasonal, and will only run during the duckling hatching season! Learning Goals
Students will learn basic facts about ducks. Students will also review circle and triangle shapes as they draw a duck of their own.
