Students will use the PQ3R reading study method during class while reading a current event article. This method transfers to different types of reading. The knowledge of PQ3R is a tool students can use on the go for school assignments, personal interest, and informational resources.
I have had students in the public and private school setting K-12 for over 25 years. I was an elementary public school teacher for 1st and 3rd grades for several years. I then taught 4th and 5th grades in private school for over a decade. I homeschooled my own children for several years through a local hybrid school. Currently, I teach 7-12 mathematics in a private school setting. I hold a current Master of Arts in Education degree from a large university in the state of Missouri.
