Class Experience

We read to gain meaning and knowledge.  The PQ3R reading study method is a proven technique to help students more efficiently study reading material in less time.  This technique transfers across many assignments and reading for personal interests.  Students will practice how to preview, question, read, recite, and review reading material. Students will use the PQ3R reading study method during class.  This method transfers to different types of reading.  The knowledge of PQ3R is a tool students can use on the go for school assignments, personal interest, and informational resources.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

DOGO News provides high interest, academic current event articles for use in the classroom. The current events are written for students.  We will be reading about the vision of the Space Hotel, set to open in 2027.
