Pet Simulator X is a fun, online Roblox game. Players collect coins and gems to get powerful pets and unlock new worlds. They can also trade pets. In this one-time class, learners will socialize and play Pet Simulator X together in a safe, private server. The private server will only be available to the learners enrolled in the class. Please complete the "Prior to Class" section before class time. At the beginning of class we will do introductions and immediately start the game. If your learner is unfamiliar with this Roblox game, I can lead them around and explain what to do. Each individual learner can decide what they would like to explore or achieve. They can trade pets, share discoveries, give advice, or just use this time to chat while exploring independently. **IMPORTANT** PRIOR TO CLASS: - Roblox must be installed and an account created. -Send me a direct Outschool message with your learner's Roblox username. I will send a friend request so they can be added to the private server. -Learners should be familiar with basic Roblox functions such as accepting friend requests, entering and exiting games, and basic Roblox functions such as moving/looking around. Learners will be unmuted for most of the class. They will be free to chat and interact with each other as they play. We can also share tips and tricks while we play. It is recommended that learners use two devices, one for our zoom class and one for gameplay. I will monitor discussions to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom. I cannot be held responsible for any issues the learner has with their internet or Roblox connection.

Parental Guidance
Prior to class, the roblox app must be downloaded and a username created. I will need to become Roblox friends with each learner in order to add them to the private game server.
Learners will need to log into the Roblox app during class time. We will only play on my private Roblox server. Please be aware that Pet Simulator X has a Trading Plaza area which takes learners out of my private server into a different server where they can trade pets with other Roblox users. Please discuss with your learner if you do not wish for them to visit the trading plaza during class time. I will never tell learners to visit this area in class.

Welcome! My name is Beth Walker. I am a mom to two creative and energetic boys (10 & 14). I have always loved creating art projects for my kids. I'm excited to share my passion for art with your child! I also will provide social clubs, centered around art or video games. They will be a safe place for kids to connect and socialize through a shared interest.
I have always been interested in drawing or making something. I took four years of art classes in high school. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati. I was also a Graphic Artist for five years at Berry Plastics. After becoming a stay-at-home mom, I still found ways to create art, either through invitation design or children's art projects. Four years ago, when I became an online ESL teacher, I really discovered my love for teaching children. I also earned my TESOL Certificate from the International Open Academy in 2018. As a homeschool teacher, I have taught complete curriculums for second, third, and sixth grades.
I promote student success through a patient and encouraging environment. I adapt my teaching techniques to best fit each student's needs, abilities, or interests. I also believe it is important to have fun while learning. I want my students to enjoy their time in my classroom. It is a safe, inclusive space to learn and share.
Some hobbies I have are puzzles, trivia games, listening to audiobooks, anything Harry Potter, and playing board games. My kids have gotten me into playing Minecraft and Roblox with them too.Reviews
