US Grade 3 - 5
In this class learners are introduced to different types of paragraphs, such as descriptive, narrative, and persuasive. They learn how to structure a paragraph, use appropriate vocabulary and grammar, and convey their ideas effectively. Paragraph writing is an essential skill that every student must learn. After learning how to construct sentences, learners must develop the skills necessary to write a paragraph, and then transfer those skills into writing multi-paragraph essays. Repeated practice is necessary to master the art of paragraph writing! πLeaves of Learning Academy is rated "Popular" by Outschool because we are in the top 10% of all teachers on Outschool. This means we offer classes that are in high demand that fill up quickly! π π£This class has a maximum of 7 learners so the teacher can provide extensive, specific, and individualized feedback after EVERY class to EVERY learner. πYour learner may choose to complete their writing on paper (take a picture and send to me for feedback) OR I will send a link to Google Slides that they can write in and share with me for feedback. A message will be posted in the Outschool classroom before the class takes place in the event a substitute will be teaching. I am happy to offer a refund to any learner who prefers not to attend the class with a substitute. Please send a message through Outschool in that event and I will issue a refund. Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Outschool policies regarding refunds for classes: β If your learner misses a class meeting, you are not entitled to a refund. Your teacher may, however, transfer your learner to another available section, or provide a class recording, at their discretion. β If your learner has not joined the meeting 10 minutes after the classβs start time, the meeting may be cancelled, at the teacherβs discretion. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund. β Refunds are not guaranteed in the event that your learner misses a past or future class meeting due to a schedule conflict, and will depend on the class-specific refund policy. β If your learnerβs meeting time changes because of daylight saving time starting or ending for several world regions, you are not entitled to a refund if theyβre unable to attend.
