Beginner Level
Electricity powers nearly everything around us, but how does it actually work? In this beginner-friendly class, students will explore the fundamental principles of electricity, including voltage, current, resistance, and power. Through easy-to-understand explanations and real-world examples, learners will develop a strong foundation in electrical concepts that apply to circuits, household devices, and future STEM learning. This class is structured as a self-paced or live session where students will engage with clear visual presentations, interactive discussions, and relatable analogies to reinforce key concepts. My teaching style emphasizes making complex topics simple and engaging, using comparisons to everyday experiences like water flow and real-life electrical applications. Students will interact through guided discussions, problem-solving exercises, and Q&A opportunities to deepen their understanding. By the end of the class, they will have a clear grasp of essential electrical principles and how they impact the world around them, preparing them for more advanced studies in electronics, engineering, and robotics. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
Learning Goals
Understand the Basics of Electricity – Explain the fundamental concepts of voltage, current, resistance, and power.
Apply Ohm’s Law – Use the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance to solve simple circuit problems.
