Class Experience

We will be playing fun freeze dance style games while dancing to power ranger theme songs. As we are dancing we will do fun things such as dancing like power rangers in battle, zords, puttys, and other things that students will get to choose. Each student will also get to be a turn being the "red ranger" and everyone will have to "obey the leader" by copying how they dance.

This class is inclusive, this means students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know ahead of time and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Gabrielle, I started teaching sewing lessons when I was a homeschool senior. I taught classes at a local home school group and discovered I had a passion for teaching. When I was 19 I discovered I was most likely autistic and was able to get an official diagnosis at 21. For me, this was a revelation and explained so much. It meant I was able to seek out others like me and was a huge game-changer for me.

For over 10 years now I have been teaching in different capacities and working with children with different disabilities and differences. I have been an in-home caregiver for a physically disabled child, a preschool teacher, a teacher's aid, a tutor and have been teaching online since January 2020. I also have an Associates' degree in special education.

I am proud to be autistic. This doesn't mean I don't have struggles but I firmly believe that we all have strengths and weaknesses. I strive to give all of my students a safe and welcoming place. All of my classes are inclusive which means students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.
