In this class, we will discuss the power of our words, and our thoughts, and how much it can impact our feelings and emotions. Day to day it is common for negative thinking to disrupt our well being as a whole. We will cover many different situations that give us an opportunity to think of ways to make negative situations more positive, with many opportunities for class discussions and idea sharing. We will end the class choosing between 5 different affirmation art projects (all five will be available to download in the classroom). Please have all 5 ready to go before class begins. (I AM BRAVE, I AM THANKFUL, I AM HAPPY, I AM SAFE, I AM LOVED). The students will then choose between the four affirmations, and we will practice imagery to draw and color a picture matching the chosen affirmation, making a personal connection to their own life, and situations faced. This class includes many instant downloads that can be found within the classroom. These downloads include - 1. A 10 page printable workbook, that the student can work through in their own time, at their own pace. 2. 13 Affirmation Art Pintables created by Ms. Holly, for use of printing, to place around the students bedroom or space of choice. 3. 5 Affirmation free draw/art pintables to encourage imagery, and relating to an affirmation. (1-2) will be completed at the end of the class). 4. OPTIONAL- Please private message me after class to receive a FREE SURPRISE AFFIRMATION CARD in the mail, through USPS. 5. Printable word choices sheet. The 5 affirmation drawing pintables are the only thing that is needed to have printed and ready to go before class begins. Please make sure your student has these available, as they will choose which of the 5 they would like to complete. (I AM LOVED, I AM SAFE, I AM THANKFUL, I AM BRAVE, I AM HAPPY). Please have pencil and paper available for optional note taking.
Learning Goals
Learn about and practice positive thinking, while incorporating daily affirmations. Thought awareness is a big first step, yet through practice it can become normal thinking. The main goal is to cultivate more thoughts of self-love, and self-confidence.

Hi, Friends! My name is Holly Brady, and I am a teacher, an artist, a writer, and an entrepreneur! I am a mother to four daughters, ranging in age from 4, to 19!
I have a background in working with, and teaching special needs children. I have obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, graduating with a GPA of 3.7. I love teaching all ages!
I am extremely passionate about empathy, kindness, the development of self-love, and self-esteem. I also feel that music and art can help you develop your creative identity. We are ALL artists, and all artistic creations are beautiful!
