In the span of one class, learners will be introduced to the exciting process of costume design, Super Villain style, and design their very own Super Villain costume! Together we will engage, analyze and talk about the fun research and design inspiration behind the infamous Joker and then create our own Villain! By the end of the class, your learner will have designed their very own Supervillain costume on paper with a printable template provided by me and will each present it to the class. I love interacting with learners and highly encourage class participation to get the most out of this class. I'm super excited to get to meet your learner! Learning Goals
Learners will learn to think critically, curiously and creatively as we dive into the costume world of Super Villains. Learners will become familiar about the fun costume design process through designing their own Super Villain costume. Learners will draw and color their costume designs on template sheets that I will provide for the class.Other Details
Parental Guidance
Costumes are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies.
Please note that costume designs/drawings will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.). Any inappropriate drawing or behavior from a learner will result in the learner being removed from the class.
Supply List
A character template will be provided and should be printed out for the first class on 8.5"x11" paper. If printing resources are unavailable, learner may use plain white paper or a sketch book. Students will need: Drawing utensil (Preferably a pencil) Colored pencils, Markers or Crayons 8.5"x11" white paper
