Pow! Crash! Bang! Design Your Own Graphic Novel

Calling all future comic book legends! Have you ever wanted to create your own superhero, go on a wild adventure, or draw a world full of crazy characters? In Pow! Crash! Bang!, you’ll learn how to bring your ideas to life using a unique blend of art and storytelling. Whether you're a master doodler or just starting to sketch, this class will let your imagination run wild.

Through engaging activities and discussions, we'll explore: 
* the magic of storytelling (plot)
* how to create awesome characters 
* how to design exciting action scenes (setting/visual composition)
* the secret powers of panels and speech bubbles! (dialogue)

Plus, you’ll get to use your very own art style to make your stories unique and totally you! At the end of the class, you'll have your own comic masterpiece to share with friends and family.

Students will be expected to spend some time working on their creations in their free time to complete a full story by the end of the class, but the amount of time will be up to them. 

As with all of my offerings, this class will be a high-fun, low-pressure environment that encourages students to take creative risks, which will grow their confidence as writers, artists, and storytellers.
