Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about different types of poetry, and create their own limerick.
I have an IDS BA in Modern Languages and Communication, Digital Media, and Communication. As a part of my college studies, I have taken courses in English. I have tutored students in English, as well as other subjects.
- A clear bottle. I recommend one that is around this size, as this will be what I'm using in my demonstration (https://bit.ly/33qenV0). The bottle MUST have a cork. - Clear glue. - Water - Food Dye (the color is your choice) - Hot Glue/Hot Glue Gun - Paint similar to the color of your food dye. - A label. - Paper and Pencil Students will be creating their own potion, so they may wish to add some of the following accessories based on their potion purpose: - Beads (optional) - Small, fake flowers or leaves (optional) - Glitter (optional) - Pearl Powder Pigment (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
We will be discussing Halloween, some Halloween history, witches, and various types of potions as seen in pop culture (deadly, love, luck, etc.).
