In this class we will discuss the basics of drawing objects, settings, creatures and characters from photo references and then explore techniques for using our imaginations to transform them into something fresh and futuristic.
Class Experience
In this class we will first explore techniques to draw pictures from photo references. I will take requests of what to draw, and then talk through the drawing process while answering questions from the class. Next we will use imagination and different brainstorming methods to alter, combine and repurpose the objects to create something new. Students may draw along with the me, or they may draw their own pictures. If students would like to share their drawings for assistance at any time...
