Description

Class Experience

Students will learn techniques for drawing from photograph references.
Students will learn brainstorming techniques to reimagine reference images into something new
Homework will be an optional part of this class. At the end of each class an idea for homework practice will be given. At the start of each class we will take time to discuss and show off the homework from the previous week.
If students are interested, on the 5th week I will give their artwork a constructive critique. This is not mandatory, but critique is an essential part to growing as an artist, so it is encouraged.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Occasionally conversation topics may arise that are based upon video games, movies, comics etc. that potentially may involve mature themes and fictional violence.
