Leaners will receive individualized reading instruction to meet their unique goals. If they come to class with an assignment to complete, we will finish it during our session. Otherwise, I will assess the learner's needs and create a customized plan for success.
I have over 18 years of classroom experience teaching in grades K-12, and I've been a tutor for even longer than that. In fact, my first "tutoring gig" was when I was in the fourth grade! I love to help people meet their learning goals. I hold certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, High School Communications, and the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading.
Learners will need something to write on and something to write with for this class. If they are bringing work, please have it ready for class to make sure we have the most time possible for learning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
