Description
Class Experience
Join me for another fun game of "Say This Not That". In this class, students will learn about negative and positive self-talk. We will work together to replace unkind words with kind words, and throw that negative self-talk away. Students will practice affirmations, and understand that being kind to people means being kind to self. Students will have many opportunities to talk and share during class. Get ready to giggle. Class Format: Intros/Warm-up (we get silly) Discussion:...

I have a degree in elementary education and have been working with kids through teaching, coaching, and childcare for over 15 years. I have extensive experience and expertise working with ESL learners. Also, I am raising three boys of my own ( ages 1, 5 & 8). I am often inspired to create classes that cover subjects I find important in my own parenting journey. I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader. To support my curriculum development I dedicate significant time to reading, listening, and learning about the most current research on child development, teaching, and parenting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
