US Grade 6 - 9
My Portuguese for Beginners class offers a highly interactive and engaging learning experience. Using a communicative and immersive approach, I focus on real-life conversation, essential vocabulary, and pronunciation practice to help students develop confidence in speaking. Lessons are structured with fun role-playing activities, interactive dialogues, and pronunciation drills, ensuring that students actively participate and practice their skills in every session. No prior knowledge of Portuguese is required—this class is designed for absolute beginners! My supportive, small-group setting allows for personalized attention and direct feedback, making it easy for learners to follow along, ask questions, and progress at their own pace. Whether your child is learning for travel, cultural connection, or personal enrichment, they will gain practical language skills in a fun and encouraging environment. The following list outlines what students will learn in each class, giving parents a clear understanding of the skills and knowledge their child will gain. Each lesson is designed to introduce essential vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and develop conversation skills through engaging, real-life scenarios. By participating in these interactive classes, students will build confidence in speaking Portuguese while learning practical language skills they can use in everyday situations.
