US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Recognition of numbers supports the development of other number skills. In this class students will count, identify and write numbers while playing math games. My goal in this class, is to help your child develop number sense. Number sense develops over time through opportunities to explore and play with numbers. Visualizing numbers in different contexts, spotting relationships between numbers and predicting the patterns all contribute to good number sense. This class will use dice and dice games in a variety of ways to increase your child's number sense.
Learning Goals
Students will begin to develop or increase number sense by identifying, counting, and writing numbers.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi my name is Lynn and I am excited to be teaching on Outschool.
I graduated with a bachelor degree in education. I am a certified teacher with an endorsement in Pre-K - 4th grade.
I taught first grade for 18 years and I have taught kindergarten for the last 11 years. I also have over 15 years of experience volunteering with pre-schoolers and young adults. I love teaching and making an impact on children of all ages. I feel so blessed to be able to have a job I love!
I believe that learning should be interactive and fun as well as educational. I also believe that all children learn and develop at their own pace and I believe in meeting children where they are when they come to my class. I will offer a variety of activities in my classes to enhance each students learning experience.
In my free time I enjoy riding my bike, crafting with my cricut, reading, going to the beach and pool, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.
I look forward to becoming a part of your child's educational journey!
