In this on-going course, students will learn literacy skills that are designed for a kindergarten grade level. Students will also practice 3 to 4 Dolch Pre-Primer and Primer Sight Words each class.

US Grade Kindergarten
Get the popcorn popping! Students will be allowed to bring their favorite popcorn flavor to class and munch along as we learn to read simple passages designed for a kindergarten grade level. This class will focus on students learning to read stories in a fun environment. Stories consist of repetitive words and short sentences. All the stories are in big font and come from K5 Learning Grade K workbook. Students will read a portion of the passage independently or with help from teacher.This...

I will occassionally post additional practice sheets such as printable flashcards for the sight words that we are focusing on or phonic worksheets. Any worksheet posted is an optional activity for students to complete.
Students should bring the printed out story and a writing tool.
