In this pop-up Zumba class, students will participate in a complete a full dance-fitness class from warm-up to cool-down. This class is great for kids with some extra energy, those new to dance, experienced dancers, and those who are neurodiverse. Class format: - "Question of the Day" - Warm-up dance - Learn and practice a dance with music - Active game (Freeze Dance) - Cool-down dance or slow creative movements -Closing Question, "What was your favorite part of today's Zumba class?" For safety while dancing, Zumba students should wear comfy clothes, well-fitting sneakers, have water nearby, and have a few feet in each direction to move! For the best experience, Zumba students should be on-camera from head-to-toes during class. If families have any questions or needs, feel free to send me a private message on Outschool and I will do my best to respond within 48 hours.

Parental Guidance
This Zumba class will incorporate gross-motor movements such as jumping, kicking, and skipping. Students should have appropriate space to dance in, a water bottle, and well-fitting sneakers to promote safety and prevent injury.
Parents may want to remain close by to encourage attention and help with any technology issues that might arise (especially during the first class).
If any technological issues arise during class (ex: teacher is inaudible), parents can send me a message in the chat on Zoom and I will do my best to resolve the issue. Also, if your student is joining late--don't worry! It may take a moment to be let in (especially if we are in the middle of a dance), but I will admit you as soon as possible.
If a family has any special needs, comments, or concerns before or after class they can feel free to send me a private message on Outschool and I will do my best to accommodate to your satisfaction within 48 hours.
This Inclusive Zumba class is great for students who are neurotypical, neurodiverse, have Autism, ADHD, speech impairments, dyslexia, Down Syndrome, and many other disability classifications.
