Class Experience
Have you ever wondered just what is going on inside the Earth? Join us as we explore the layers that compose our planet. We will review the various layers of the Earth in this class and answer a variety of questions that we may have about those layers. We will discuss the specific features that distinguish the individual layers from one another. Lastly, we will use construction paper, glue, and scissors to make a model of the Earth's layers. -Students will be able to label the different layers of the Earth. -Students will be able to build a model that shows the layers of the Earth.
-Printable templates, located in class -Construction paper of various colors, for example one sheet each of orange, yellow, red, brown, blue, pink, and something like purple or dark blue. -Glue stick -Scissors
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
-Learners will use scissors to cut out templates. Please provide adequate supervision and ensure that your learner has the skills to use scissors safely. -Supervision must occur with adults off-screen per the Outschool policy.
