US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner Level
Learn how to create pop-up greeting cards for the holiday season! Together we'll learn two different ways to make a pop-up card-- Ms. Kristy demonstrates the techniques while learners follow along, step-by-step. Our two techniques are the basic pop-out, and the vignette frame. Then students can choose how they want to decorate their cards! Included in your class materials are images that learners may use, or they can make their own! - Vignette frame template (with snowman landscape!) - Evergreen trees/Christmas trees! - Snowmen! - Gnomes! - Gingerbread people! - Santa! - Reindeer! - Gift boxes! Print and cut out, OR draw freehand. Add color, glitter, anything you choose! By the end of class, each student will have created two cards ready for display or gifting! Crafty students who wish to keep creating will be able to use these techniques to make their own card designs after class is over! **Younger students or those who have difficulty cutting and gluing may require some assistance!
