Find your kid singing in the shower? Always wearing headphones? Maybe they have a lot of band t shirts! Whatever the reason, your music lover will want backstage passes to this class! Join us every week to learn about a pop music legend and their influence on the music world today. Every week we will explore a new artist or genre by hearing music, watching live performances, and getting creative with music ourselves. Students will be invited to present on their own music idols and will be given the opportunity for creative self expression. Learners can register at anytime despite missing previous weeks. Previous knowledge is not required. Project options available if required for educational credits. Please send a message if you have questions or class time requests. Rowan (he/him) is a 4th year elementary education student from Alberta, Canada. Rowan has a passion for baking, biology, and the arts! He can't wait until he graduates from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor's of Education. Rowan also has a personal interest and passion surrounding educational psychology and learning challenges. When Rowan is not teaching, you can find him hanging out with his cat mango, or playing guitar.
