Description

Class Experience

In this 30-minute class, children will work on multiplication facts 0-10. 
We will begin with a number sense warm up before moving into vocabulary, where we will discuss the definition of factor and product in relation to multiplication.
The majority of the class will be spent using Pop It toys to model multiplication sentences using arrays. (If Pop Its are not available at home, this lesson will also be displayed using a whiteboard and marker).

This class is taught in English.

Students will be able to use arrays to solve multiplication problems.
Students will be able to identify factors and products in multiplication equations.

Pop It Fidget Toy (preferably at least 6 dots across and 6 dots down)
Paper/Pencil or Whiteboard/Marker
***If Pop It is not available, this lesson can be done with a whiteboard/marker as a substitute

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
