This one time class is an art class about Romeo Britto and his whimsical pop art. In order for this class to most successful for all Learners, a minimum of two Learners must be enrolled.

Students will be meeting with the teacher for a one hour class on Pop Art. We will be using the image that the teacher has attached and create patterns within the picture. We will briefly discuss the artist Romero Britto and his contribution to the Pop Art world. We will also be learning about patterns, complementary colors and techniques associated with Pop Art.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about pattern, color combination, elements of design, the Pop Art movement and artists associated with Pop Art.

Supply List
White paper (heavy construction paper works best), black markers, and colored pencils, oil pastels or markers may be used, and a ruler.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
