Description

Class Experience

We will begin class with the story "I'll Wait, Mr. Panda" by Steve Antony. In this story, Mr. Panda's animal friends are curious about what he's making, but only one has the patience to stick around. In the end, the penguin is rewarded with a big surprise: a giant doughnut! After the story, students will be introduced to Pop Art by viewing a short video clip with Pop Art images by various artists. After learning about this bold, fun, and bright style of art, students will create a pop art...

1 sheet of card stock, or sturdy paper  (please help your child divide it into 4 equal boxes prior to class with a pencil or black marker)
*wide tip markers of various bright colors

A note obout supplies:
*you may make your Pop Art using crayons or color pencils, as well.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
