Class Experience
In this 8 day intensive course we will learn everything you need to know to go and do a party or entertain your family and friends. This class is an extended version of my balloon camp so you will not need to attend both. Students who go through this course can go into my ongoing class and will be able to join in at any point. I have been twisting and teaching children to twist for 11 years. I have a twisting and decor business as well as a full scale entertainment company.
Every design should be practiced until memorized. It's easy to learn a balloon and later forget how it was done. You should immediately write down new twists you've learned so you won't forget them.
I would recommend going to Amazon asap and ordering a 100-250 pack of Qualatex 260 mixed color balloons. You will also need a qualatex balloon hand pump. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Popping balloons will not phase you. You'll have balloon basics down.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Most balloon twisting balloons are made with latex. Kids with sound sensitivities should be aware that twisting is squeeky and poppy. You will also need a tolerance for balloon noises.
