Class Experience
Come join me as I guide the class through one of Rainbow Dashes Favorite Treats: Rainbow Magic Cookies bars from the My Little Pony Baking Book! Please bring a Pony ( if you have one), I love getting to meet everyone's Favorite Pony if you want to share! I hope students have fun while talking about all things pony, interacting with each other, and learn a little bit about working in the kitchen. Students are sure to walk away from the class with more confidence in the kitchen, a REALLY tasty...
I want the students to gain more confidence in the kitchen and have fun making friends with a common interest.
If you want to be more hands-off but your child is not comfortable with measuring please pre-measure everything and have them help you before class :) If you plan on being in the kitchen with them you can measure as we go during class, I will be giving each measurement in class as we go. 1/2 cup butter- we will melt in class together, I encourage the students to practice with the stovetop with this step but the microwave is ok if you are not comfortable with them using it or don't want to be as hands-on. 1 pack of graham crakers- we will be crumbling them in class together to get 1 1/2 cups 14 oz can on sweetened condensed milk 1 cup of chocolate chips 1 cup m&m or similar candy-covered chocolate 1 1/3 cup flaked coconut 13x 9 pan cooking spray fork a ziplock bag or small bowl to crush crackers in Your favorite pony to share if you want to! I don't make anyone speak if they do not wish to :)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to be near to help with the oven, stovetop, measuring, and other things your child might not feel confident with yet in the kitchen.
