If you want to be more hands-off but your child is not comfortable with measuring please pre measure everything and have them help you before class :) 
If you plan on being in the kitchen with them you can measure as we go during class, I will be giving each measurement in class as we go. 

PUMPKIN APPLE MUFFINS:
2 cup flour 
1 tsp baking soda 
1 tsp baking powder 
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar 
1/2 PACKED brown sugar 
1 cup canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix) 
1/2 unsweetened apple sauce 
1/3 cup apple juice 
2 eggs 
1 1/2 finely chopped or grated apple- please have your child help with cutting or grating if possible
OPTIONAL - chopped nuts 

TOOLS:
Muffin pan and liners 
2 mixing bowls 
mixing spoons 
Measuring cups and spoons 

Your favorite pony to share if you wish to do so, no student is expected to talk if they don't feel comfortable 

Parents will need to be near to help with the oven, measuring, and other things your child might not feel confident with yet in the kitchen.
