Description

Class Experience

In this class we will be reading fun stories about the pond habitat and the animals and plants that live in it.  We will also sing songs having to do with the pond theme and will have a craft to do with each class.  The crafts will be simple preschool crafts but will require parental help for the preschoolers.  The first craft will be a turtle made out of a paper bowl. It will have a tissue paper shell and construction paper arms,legs and head.  The second craft on day 2 will be a coffee...

Hi, Let me introduce myself.  I have been an educator for the past 20 years.  I have a Colorado certified professional teacher license. I have taught all age elementary and Preschool children and my focus has been the primary grades.  As a Primary grade teacher I have taught many children to read.  I have also worked as a resource reading teacher helping children improve their fluency and phonics skills with many different reading programs and strategies as well as teaching all classroom subjects.  I have been a Preschool teacher for 8 years and I love to do arts and crafts with kids.

Paper bowl, paper plate (white with no design) , tissue paper in various colors including green, liquid glue, scissors, markers, spray bottle, clothes pin, green pipe cleaner, paint brush, watercolors. All of these materials you can get at the dollar store.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents will need to supervise preschoolers with the crafts.
