Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
I teach a variety of Art classes on Outschool. Many of my classes are Polymer Clay Miniatures, from beginner to intermediate.
*Sculpting Medium (any brand/type you prefer. I like to use Sculpey Polymer Bake Clay). *A little clay goes a LONG way in miniature sculpting! Basic cutting tool, toothpick, dotting tool (for eye sockets) A non stick surface to work on (baking paper/parchment paper is great) Variety of colors of polymer clay (at least one mouse color and one accent color for feet, arms, tail) Tiny Black Glass seed beads for eyes (optional). No plastic, just glass. You may use black clay for eyes if you prefer. OPTIONAL: If using baked clay: Clear Water based gloss glaze for after baking (I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze). **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
