Beginner Level
In this ongoing class students will practice sculpting 3-dimensional shapes to make various animals. Our sculptures will be tiny but mighty! I will be making my sculptures over a live video feed while students work along with me. I will lead students through each step of the sculpting process. Students are encouraged to ask questions and engage with myself and classmates. This is a great class for practicing fine motor skills, learning about color and shape, and having fun while doing so! Each class will feature a different animal. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun A new animal will be introduced each week for sculpting. Teacher expertise and credentials
I will be teaching a range of art classes for young artists that want to have fun and teen artists that are more serious about their artistic skills. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and a minor in art history, as well as 2.5 years of classical realism atelier training. I am a full time professional artist and I love to teach! I have been teaching children and adults for the past 5+ years. I believe that having as much artistic training as you can early on will benefit your professional career as an artist. When I'm not painting and teaching, you will find me outside in the mountains. I love to go hiking, camping, and skiing. You might even catch me with my easel outdoors!
