This class is taught in English.
The supplies needed are: Polymer Baked Clay : Yellow, Orange or Green plus White and Translucent (translucent optional) *Important to note: Canes need a stiffer clay, like Sculpey or FIMO. Many of the online brands sold in bulk are way too soft and bleed together. The student's experience may differ based on quality of clay. A sharp clay cutting tool (I use a long clay cutting blade) A nonstick rolling pin (I like acrylic) A nonstick surface (I like acrylic or glass) Optional for this class, but recommended for more advanced Canes: An inexpensive Pasta Machine (about $25 US on Amazon) Polymer clay requires baking after class. 275F/135C for 20 minutes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be using a clay cutting tool or clay knife. Please go over blade safety. Polymer clay requires baking after class. 275F/135C for 20 minutes.
