In this class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable dragons. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. As a class, we will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked after class is over. Sculpting Medium (any brand/type you prefer. I like to use Sculpey III Polymer Clay). Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, smoothing tool, dotting tool (for eye sockets) A cutting tool (clay knife, anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works) A wooden toothpick or small piece of sculpting/jewelry wire for support Clay colors: Any color combination you choose! I use a base of white or black with accents of colors. **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You will bake after class. Parental help is necessary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
